Introducing the refreshed AiP: making every school meal a big deal

As the new academic year begins, we’re starting it strong with a brand refresh and enhanced menus across our schools. Built on everything we’ve learned from working closely with schools, pupils and communities, the refresh takes our commitment to nutritious food, pupil wellbeing and great school partnerships further.

This refresh is all about keeping our pupils at the heart of every decision, encouraging feedback, and creating food experiences that they’re excited to be part of every day. AiP’s Managing Director, Rebecca Bridgement, puts it best:

"As expectations around school food continue to evolve, our responsibility is to keep listening, keep adapting and continue finding ways to make every mealtime an opportunity to discover something new."

Nutritional expertise and pupil insights

Our new menus are the work of our chefs and nutrition experts at AiP. Together, we combine nutritional expertise with pupil insight and popular food trends, making sure that alongside the new items on the menu, we’re also keeping the well-loved favourites.

Our menus are designed to make healthy food feel exciting, accessible, and inclusive to all of our pupils. The result is menus that bring together what pupils already love with the opportunity to try something new. Take a look at what’s new.

Bringing new flavours to the table

For our primary pupils, our new hero dishes bring new colours and flavours to the plate. Our new chilli bean stack brings plant-based protein alongside bold, vibrant flavours, creating curiosity in the dining hall and giving our pupils plenty to talk about.

For our secondary pupils, we’ve turned up the flavour with dishes that connect familiar favourites with global cuisines. Our spicy adobo roti chicken wrap with sesame slaw celebrates Filipino flavours and is presented in a format our pupils know and love.

Each of our new dishes has been designed to make mealtimes more engaging. It gives pupils food they already love and more they haven't tried yet, inviting them into the dining hall to explore the possibilities.

Partnership that goes beyond mealtimes

At AiP, mealtimes are about more than serving lunch. It’s an opportunity to support pupil wellbeing, strengthen school communities and create positive experiences that extend beyond the dining hall. As a long-term partner to schools and Trusts, we work alongside them to understand their needs and find new ways to make a positive difference across the school community.

Our partnership approach also extends to sustainability. From reducing food waste and supporting carbon reduction to responsible sourcing and environmental education, we help schools make positive changes that reach beyond mealtimes. We bring these initiatives into the school environment, helping pupils understand the role food can play in creating a more sustainable future. For our teams every school meal is seen as an opportunity to make a positive difference and that’s why every school meal is a big deal.

Making every school meal count

We’re delighted to be rolling out our AiP refresh across 400+ schools this academic year. If you’re a school or Trust looking for a catering partner that puts pupils, food, and community at the heart of its approach, we’d love to hear from you.
