I’ve been with AiP for 6 weeks now, but I bring over 25 years of experience in the contract catering industry, having worked across most sectors. I began my career with Gardner Merchant as a trainee chef manager and worked my way up through the ranks.

Favourite food:
I’m not a fussy eater—I enjoy most things! But I have to say, nothing beats a roast lunch at home with the family.
Favourite food to cook/bake:
I’m a big baker and love making cakes and biscuits with my daughter. Cooking is my way of relaxing.
Best school meal memory:
It has to be the pink custard! I’ve always had a sweet tooth, and I think those old-school puddings may have played a role in that.
Why do you love working for AiP?
Since joining, I’ve been impressed by the people at AiP. Not only have they made me feel incredibly welcome, but their enthusiasm and passion for serving fantastic food to every child is truly inspiring.
